Linda Shaw

Linda Shaw (she/her) is SJN's Director of Beacons & Advanced Practice. She leads efforts to embed solutions journalism into newsrooms’ coverage in ways that drive impact, equity and revenue. She previously led SJN initiatives tied to democracy and equity, including a fellowship that's helping newsrooms reinvent the way they cover politics. Before SJN, she worked at The Seattle Times, where she led Education Lab, an award-winning solutions-focused effort that since has been replicated by four other news organizations.
