Amy Brady

Amy Brady (she/her) is SJN's Chief Development Officer: She leads the work to secure the philanthropic revenue that enables SJN to meet its aims and mission. She comes to SJN from Orion Magazine, where she served as Executive Director and Publisher. She holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from UMass Amherst and is the author of "Ice: From Mixed Drinks to Skating Rinks — a Cool History of a Hot Commodity," named a best book of 2023 by NPR and Scientific American.
