Ambika Samarthya-Howard

Ambika Samarthya-Howard (she/her) is Chief Managing Director of the Solutions Insights Lab, an initiative of SJN that uses the tools of solutions journalism to help problem-solving organizations connect people, build communities and create the conditions for sector-wide change. She has an MFA in film from Columbia University and has been creating, teaching and writing at the intersection of storytelling and social good for two decades. She has produced films for Current TV, UNICEF, Havas and the United Nations Population Fund. She has spoken at the Skoll World Forum, the Global Philanthropy Forum, Devex World and the United Nations.
