Angela K. Evans

Angela K. Evans (she/her) is SJN’s Director of Communities of Practice: She supports, develops and connects like-minded journalists within our network, bringing them together to reinforce and accelerate learning, to effect change in our industry so that rigorous, evidence-based reporting on responses to systemic problems becomes an essential part of their work. She also leads our global network of climate journalists and manages grant programs designed to empower reporters to tell solutions-focused stories about the environment. As an experienced journalist, Angela is committed to inspiring community connection and raising public engagement through storytelling. She's been a local reporter and editor since 2014.
