The Africa Feature Network is a media and advocacy network launched to strengthen how Africa is covered, understood and represented. Through journalism, advocacy and action, the media organization seeks to place African perspectives and locally-driven responses at the center of conversations about Africa’s future, with solutions journalism central to this approach. Offering monthly training webinars on solutions journalism, Africa Feature Network has trained more than 500 journalists since the program’s inception late last year, equipping practitioners with practical skills to identify, investigate and produce rigorous, solutions-focused stories.

AFN is working to contribute to a more complete and nuanced account of the continent by connecting journalists and bringing greater visibility to evidence-based responses emerging from African communities.

So, if you are a journalist and want to be part of the monthly conversations on solutions journalism with experienced editors, you can join their monthly webinars or reach out to the Africa Feature Network.
