Lagipoiva Cherelle Jackson

Lagipoiva Cherelle Jackson (she/her) is SJN’s Director of Climate: She leads the work on advancing climate solutions reporting. She was the Climate Collaborations Editor for The Associated Press and has over 20 years of reporting on the climate crisis in the Pacific Islands, including Fiji, Tonga, Niue, Tokelau, Tuvalu and her home country of Samoa. She received her Ph.D. in International Climate Law Recourses for Small Island Nations from the National University of Samoa.
