News Ambassadors' Depolarization Strategies Training
As a former SJN Complicating the Narratives Fellow and the director of News Ambassadors, Shia Levitt is deeply committed to creating constructive, solutions-focused reporting around even the most incendiary issues. While they usually offer depolarization training to newsrooms, classrooms and leadership cohorts, Shia and News Ambassadors are hosting a training on April 29 that is open to all. Donations are welcome, and all go to News Ambassadors’ work. In the training, you’ll learn techniques for breaking binaries in your reporting, listening differently and deeply, fighting confirmation bias and more.
