⭐ APPLY NOW: 2026-27 Student Media Challenge
It’s time to apply if your student newsroom wants to be part of next year’s Student Media Challenge – a cohort of student news outlets at colleges and universities that will do solutions reporting on the urgent topic of youth mental health over the 2026-27 academic year. The Challenge comes with grant money to support reporting and engagement work, as well as two meetings each month: one with the entire cohort and me to share progress and benefit from training modules and guest lectures; and the other with me to troubleshoot and strategize about your own newsroom’s stories. Apply by March 20.
