Michael Davis

Michael Davis (he/him) is SJN’s Training & Curriculum Manager: He oversees our ongoing work with journalism schools and student media. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he later was an adjunct professor at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, where he earned a master's degree. During the 1986-87 academic year, he was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard. He wrote the New York Times Nonfiction Best Seller "Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street" and was co-executive producer of the Emmy-winning documentary adapted from it.
