Linda Shaw

Linda Shaw (she/her) is SJN's Director of Advanced Practice & Beacons: She leads efforts to embed solutions journalism into newsrooms’ coverage in ways that drive impact, equity and revenue. She previously led SJN initiatives tied to democracy and equity, including a fellowship that's helping newsrooms reinvent the way they cover politics. Before SJN, she worked at The Seattle Times, where she led Education Lab, an award-winning solutions-focused effort that since has been replicated by four other news organizations.
