SJN Book Club: "Hot Takes" and Climate Solutions Reporting with Sadie Babits

We had the privilege of spending an hour with Sadie Babits, senior supervising climate editor at NPR and author of “Hot Takes: Every Journalist’s Guide to Covering Climate Change.” On LinkedIn we talked about topics including how to write a book when you’re used to two-minute radio segments; how putting mental health first in journalism has benefits that extend far outside the newsroom; and why solutions reporting resonates so well in local news. If you missed the live conversation, you can still watch or listen.
