Tolu Olasoji

Tolu Olasoji is a New York-based multiplatform journalist, producer and project manager who most recently worked on the digital operations team at the geopolitics outlet GZERO Media. A committed advocate of solutions journalism, he previously wrote for David Byrne’s online magazine Reasons to be Cheerful, covering people-centric responses to systemic challenges across Africa, the US and beyond. He has reported on solutions and other topics like sports, tech and business for the likes of Al Jazeera, Quartz and The Continent. He holds a master’s degree in Journalism from West Virginia University, where he won an Emmy for a solutions-focused TV news production on addiction in America.
