Sarah Abdallah is a Lebanese journalist, IJNet Arabic editor and Program Manager at ICFJ. She has developed an online course covering how to launch a media startup in the Arab region and produced a toolkit on ethical reporting. Her work includes entrepreneurial journalism, disarming disinformation and various media fields. She has organized an online training on solutions journalism for Arab journalists and participated in translating various research and surveys. Sarah, who is also a reporter for L’Orient Le Jour, covered the recent war in Lebanon and has two degrees — in law and political sciences, as well as in linguistics, in addition to a master’s from the Lebanese University. She has arranged many training sessions for hundreds of journalists on hate speech, debunking disinformation, artificial intelligence and more. She also organized the IJNet’s boot camp for media entrepreneurs in the Mena region.
