MJ Daoud

MJ Daoud is editor-in-chief of The Peacebuilders Circle by The What If, a platform that aims to inform, inspire and connect peacebuilders around the world. She began her career as a business journalist based in Beirut, and in 2016 co-founded a media and communication startup focused on empowering Lebanese youth to drive change. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she deepened her engagement with constructive and solutions journalism. She also holds a formal Training of Trainers certification from DW Akademie. MJ is committed to developing high standards for conflict-sensitive, solutions-oriented and constructive reporting, to counter polarization.
