Melini Moses

Melini Moses is a multi-award-winning South African journalist and media trainer with more than two decades of experience in the print, broadcast and digital spaces. As director of Express Yourself, she is known for her strong editorial leadership, impactful storytelling and deep commitment to developing people. Her accolades include CNN African Journalist of the Year, National Press Club, SADC Gender in Media and WOW Women awards. She is also a Dag Hammarskjöld and World Press Institute Fellow.

Melini has trained and mentored journalists, equipping reporters and media professionals to strengthen their storytelling, sharpen their editorial judgement and communicate with greater clarity and impact. Melini is also the founder of Youth Express, an online youth empowerment initiative focused on helping young adults with practical life skills and storytelling ability.
