Juliana da Penha is a Brazilian journalist based in Scotland. She is the founding editor and director at Migrant Women Press, an independent, migrant women-led media platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of migrant and racialized women through journalism and storytelling. She is committed to creating spaces for underrepresented voices — particularly women — and to reshaping the media landscape so it can better reflect the complexities of individual and collective experiences. She holds a master's degree in human rights and international politics from the University of Glasgow, a postgraduate certificate in journalism innovation and leadership from the University of Lancashire, and an NCTJ diploma in journalism.
