Anke Gehrmann is a freelance journalist and project manager at Hamburg Media School in Germany, where she is developing a digital learning platform focused on news avoidance and strategies to overcome it. With over a decade of experience in journalism, she has worked for public broadcasters such as NDR, SWR, and ARTE, producing feature-length documentaries, series, and daily news reports with a particular emphasis on social investigative issues. Currently, Anke specializes in constructive journalism, creating tutorials for CORRECTIV and serving as a speaker and moderator at various festivals like the “bfuture Festival” hosted by the Bonn Institute. She holds degrees in Journalism, Cultural Studies, and International Politics from universities in Leipzig, Germany, and Havana, Cuba.
