Aghan Daniel has been a journalist since 1996 and a science media trainer for over 20 years. He is currently CEO of the Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (MESHA), a nonprofit organization based in Kenya. His passion for three decades has been writing and editing on climate change, agriculture, health and environment. From 2022 to date, he has been overseeing climate change projects that support the participation of African science journalists in major conferences. Currently he leads a project that is carrying out action research on climate change reporting in eastern and southern Africa. Aghan holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and is now working on his master’s thesis in communication studies. He attained his postgraduate diploma in mass communication in 1999.
