Announcing the 2024-25 Solutions Journalism Network Award Winners

Over the past few months, our Solutions Story Tracker team and 57 volunteer judges have spent countless hours reading, watching and listening to around 900 story submissions for the 2024-25 SJN Awards. These stories cut across media types, issue areas and communities while representing six continents.

Now the winners are here, and we’re as excited as can be to share them with you. Long before our work on the awards started, the journalists behind these stories were traveling to remote locations; they were likely schlepping equipment over difficult terrain; they were building relationships that would allow them to ask different questions and receive different answers.
