SJN is teaming up with Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (MESHA) for the Africa Climate Beacon Newsroom Initiative. Together, we’ll be offering six English-speaking African newsrooms/media outlets in-depth training, coaching and funding as they transform their climate coverage to be more constructive and solutions-focused.

With SJN and MESHA’s support, newsrooms will be expected to publish at least eight in-depth climate solutions stories and submit reports on audience engagement and project impact. Applicants must be established independent media organizations with a demonstrated interest in climate reporting and the capacity to manage grant funding.
