Fransisca Ria Susanti

Fransisca Ria Susanti has been a journalist since 1999. She worked at national daily newspaper in Indonesia until December 2015, before joined with nonprofit media Jaring.id (established by Indonesian Association for Media Development/PPMN) as editor-in-chief. Since August 2023, she is an executive director of PPMN.

She was a fellow of the MIT Sloan School Management & United in Diversity leadership program in 2011, and IVLP fellow in 2015.

She became acquainted with solutions journalism in 2017 when Jaring.id and PPMN began establishing contact with the Solutions Journalism Network. Since then, she has been enthusiastic about learning about solutions journalism, applying it in journalistic reporting, teaching it on campus, and in September 2023 was asked to be a solutions journalism trainer in workshop carried out by the US Agency for Global Media.
